Hilfiger Denim Live were in Holland with a great line-up and fashion people so we had to be there. I went with my girl Yamill from stylebonbon. It was in a club called Paradiso. The performances were great and the people to. We had an amazing night. We also saw Sky Ferreira i must say she sings amazing live but i do despite the fact that she sings without a band. If they also tour through your country i will advice you to go.

Maybe i mentioned it before. But i did manage to be a dresser for dutch designer Frans Molenaar. First of all it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately the whole thing was over before i even noticed it. The model i dressed is the model on the right in the fourth pic. Frans Molenaar is a dutch designer who mainly designs Haute couture for woman. He travelled the whole wide world had shows around the world, worked and did internships at the greatest designers of the world. He also has his own perfume. Sometimes he also designs a bike, or something else for a brand. Anyways one of the biggest designers our land knows! You can check out his site here. The show was in the Amstel hotel in Amsterdam. As i arrived with the other dressers we were informed about wich model we are going to dress. After that i was given a rack of clothes and matching shoes wich i had to dress her with. After the show we hung it al back and cleaned the clothes up. It was amazing! Unfortunately i forgot my cam thats why i only have one picture. Enjoy ur weekend babe.

Monki wonderworld ss2011 party

As i told you last weekend Monki was hosting a party to present their new collection, i didnt really had the time to look cause it was way to crowded. I went there with stylebonbon and some other friends (on the pic). There was alcohol and music.. What more do you want haha? For the first time i saw a lot of other Dutch bloggers. So nice to see them all in real life.. Its kinda weird to have seen someone on the internet for such a long time and then suddely that person stands before you. Besides the fashion bloggers and fashionlovers there also were some Famous Dutchies and über stilist Jean Paul Paula. Great to see him in real life.. Even got a compliment.. In short words i had an amazing night.. I went there straight after my long day of work without having anything to eat.. At the end of the night I drank a bit toooo much.. But still left the party in style haha. Oh and next week or so is the Frans Molenaar fashionshow i told you about earlier.. Going to call them tomorrow if i can still help backstage, hope so!

Hi kiddos. Im sorry for the lack of posting but i've been very busy lately, also i dont have internet in Amsterdam so during my internship i will only be posting at the weekends cause then im home. I just had week one of my internship and it was amazing! Its mostly sewing but its for a big project, so im very proud to work at it. One week or something ago i also attended the presentation of designer (were im an intern) Aziz Bekkaoui's 'MILK'. Its a event around milk. Milk is the cause of a lot of things in Holland so he made artists do their acts/performances about Milk . Sounds dumb but was quite interesting. He's also going to tour around with his 'MILK' circus and there will be a fashion show wich i will be attending and helping with. If you want to know more check out the Milk site. It has been a perfect year for me!

- Me and my bf are living more than one year together.
- Our 3,5 year anniversary.
- About 12 pairs of new shoes.
- At least 50 new garments.
- Did a lot of nice stuff with my friends.
- Managed to score some Lanvin for h&m.
- Managed to get an internship at designer Aziz Bekkaoui.
- I'm helping backstage at the next Frans Molenaar (designer) show (to come in 2011 but is arranged this year)
- Went to Antwerp, Brussel and Mali.

- Saw my African family for the first time.

Hi dolls. I had such a great time in Antwerp. Its a beautiful city with gorgeous buildings. In the evening i went to a karaoke bar with my classmates we really enjoyed ourselves with some singing and dancing. On day 2 we attended a exposition of the worlds greatest Hatter 'Stephen Jones'. The collection of hats was amazing! Unfortunately i cant show you cause my bb has broke and now is getting fixed and all my pics happened to be on my bb! In the meantime.. Yeahh.. Since its starting to get colder im literally freezing my head off because my hair is so short. I am allready letting the upper hair grow for the winter.. But the lower part is cold like hell haha. My bf tells me everyday:.. Sharai put a hat/cap on before you go outside otherwise your head will freeze.. But im to stubborn to listen to him wich leads to me getting a very cold head when i go outside.

Yesterday me and my friend (Yamilla from Stylebonbon) went to the opening of the hm flagshipstore in
Amsterdam. The first 100 people in row would get a gift card that would include amounts from 5.. till 500 euros..So we were there an hour before opening.. unfortunately the gift cards were allready given away three hours before. Kind of shitty.. Anyways hm made a big party out of it by blowing confetti into the air and setting up loud music outside. Also there were photographers making polaroids. We had a blast. friday was such a busy day! I went to Amsterdam for my internship interview @ Bas Kosters (great dutch designer). It actually went well. He is such a cool personality. He didnt know what to do with me yet so he'll get back to me. So excited! After that i had to visit Monki and RI to see the newest collections.. But there wasnt much i like. When i went back home and took the train my eye caught something..Bregje Heinen.. One of Hollands upcoming models.. First i had to take some courage.. And follow here around like a damn stalker to take the courage to ask her for some pictures so i did haha. The upper 3 were made by me yesterday. Sometimes its so hard to imagine the girl is 'just only' a girl nothing more nothing less! She is so young but has walked/ was photographed for various brands like, rodarte, dkny, monique lhuillier, Karl Lagerfeld and many many more! She has also appeared on various covers and campaigns! Im very proud shes a simple dutch girl from the East! And she has a gorgeous face!x

I also bought a pair of new wedges normally not my style but im planning to diy them a little bit. Am i the only one who is wondering what Acne is going to create in its next collection.. And then im not only goaling for shoes like the gorgeous Acne highway wedge boots or admire wedge boots but also the beautiful leather jackets and garments they create. The clock has been set one hour back.. So its allready dark in afternoon. Sometimes when i wake up and feel/see its cold and dark in the room.. And i hear the rain ticking on the roof. It makes me not wanna get up.. But it also has something mysteriously.. Fall and winter.. The darkness the snow.. The beautiful dark colors. Nature is on its best.

Wow, some things really go by very fast.. for example this week. I had a week off. So i figured to take some rest and don´t do to much. Well today its friday and its the only day i didnt do anything. I walked around like a zombie and took two trips to the supermarket haha. For the rest of the week i felt the need to go out and shop at the big cities because i have enough time to travel 4 hours or longer And allthough i didnt have any money i still managed to find these items for errr..almost nothing. The total amount was about 35 euros. Except for the ebay heels i told you about the last post. I also got a power balance bracelet from my mom.. Its some kinda tell sell shit but i got it from my mom so gives me more value.. Some people believe it works.. I dont know.. Do you have one? Its suppose to balance body and mind.. We'll see about that. For the weekend im thinking about going to a fair here with my bf. We are addicted to rocking the casino machines and losing money on trying to catch cuddly hello kitties with the gripper machine. Addicted to fairs since i was a little girl.. First things first.. apologies for the cigaret in my hand/mouth.. We were taking shots on our lunch break. Im still addicted to fake fur, doesnt matter in wich item.. I just love it.. So now its my new addiction. Its made from Mohair.. A sheep with very long hair haha. Its very warm and has some nice floral applications on the back and front. The stuff on my arm is black henna paint.. I bought it in Mali. I also bought the platform booties on ebay.. I didnt receive them yet but hope they are gorgeous. I also saw a gorgeous maxi dress but im out of money so hoping it will get cheaper and then i will strike again haha. The chanel book and mascara were included in the magazine glamour. They excist 5 years here in Holland so they had a little present for all readers. I am very happy with the book. Its lovely.. also included and a beautiful chanel mascara.

BUT NOW..i am neglecting this blog against my will. But i am so damn busy with school,work and everything allthough i really like to do it.. Blog and write nice stuff. But i have an idea. I am going to do update not so often anymore and im taking it back to 5 a month or when i am not busy more often. And i'm only going to update fashion related stuff.. Some of the outfits i wore this week. The nails are sort of Minx nails.. But they only costed me 2,00 euros at kruidvat.. And they lasted for a week so good quality! I was so busy this week, we had to make a blouse with technic Moulage wich means draping one piece of fabric around a fitting doll or someone and can only do some stitching by hand. It's a dare to make but its really difficult. Well now finally weekend haha. I have to work tommorow and after hope to go out and do some drinks tomorrow eve.. And you!? Enjoy your weekend.

Bas kosters internship

I am now in my second year of fashion design. This year we are going on a internship from februari till juli. So it will be the period of six months! I would like to try to do my internship at a big Dutch fashion designer Bas Kosters. Maybe some of you know him? He designs mens and womanswear and also is very known for his great collection of self made Bas dolls. He is kind of a do it all.. His main thing is to be a designer but he also djs, makes paintings and does/have down various projects like design for bugaboo. Anyways i think he is one of the greatest designers of Holland with his expressive and outstanding designs so i hope i will be the lucky lady to work at his studio! Tha last pic with tribals is Bas.

DAMN everything is starting again work/school. Tuesday was my day of hell! I had my first school day bleghhh made me realise that the fun times are over haha. Happily we were going to see some designers for our following internship in the second year. Tuesday i went to see RC couture in Gendringen. Wednesday i went to Zita made in Amsterdam. At both designers i like the fact they make unique stuff and that they sell their stuff on the same place as where they make it. I made some pictures of the studios.. The first two are from RC couture and the two after are from Zita made, the other pics are from me in and round Amsterdam. After we went to Zita made...I took my chance and finally went to see Monki! The store is well decorated and nice.. But its also very all over the place! You can find one piece on 2/3 different places thats kind of distressing! I finally found the monki circle scarf i saw on the site.. A girl picked the last one up just 1 minute before i did! ARGHH i could cry about it.. But i still have hope.. Someone i know works at that monki store.. So maybe they will be back in stock and i can ask her to buy the scarf for me! I did buy a sweet bow bracelet. Besides Monki i went to some secondhand stores.. I bought a vintage jacket at zipper and a blue/l.blue scarf at waterloo plein. Afterwards i saw on the receipt versace 10,00? So now im wondering if its from versace? I Love it anyways but it will be cool to have a secondhand versace jacket by accident for 10 euro's. How was your first work/school day?

Where do i start.. Oke lets see.. I have been looking forward to the monki opening for some time now! So after making ourselves ready (me and my friend), and working all day we went to the train station. As all of the Dutchies know yesterday was a very rainy day and it wouldnt stop raining. So as we arrived on the station we saw that all trains were delayed or cancelled. After waiting about an hour.. There was leaving a train in a different direction as we supposed to go but through that station we could also come to Amsterdam. So we arrived at that station about 21:00 wile the opening party had allready started an hour ago. And to go to Amsterdam we still had to travel by train about 1,5 hours wich means we would arrive at 22:30 wile the party only lasted till 23:00. You might allready guess what has happenend.. We didnt go. Why not? Because from Amsterdam central station we still had to walk 10 minutes.. So we would maybe had 20 minutes to be at the party. And now i see all the nice pics on dutch fashion blogs and i feel so bummed out about it. Such a shame.. It would be my first opening! Here some snapshots of what we wore.. I have some more but will post it later because my friend has them on her camera. I was also looking forward to finally meet some bloggers, but because of the stupid rain everything is ruined.

I really love almost every piece of the monki website! But the things above are my favorites! As most of all dutch bloggers know Monki is opening a store here this thursday eve. Thursday eve is the pre-opening and on friday its opened for everyone. I heard that thursday was only on invitation so i searched to win tickets or something then i found a site where you can get them. I mailed and received a mail back..from Spice pr. So im going there, but i am now mailing with someone of them to know if it's possible for everyone to go.. So i will keep you up on that! I was kinda busy this week but here is my post about Afrika. I really had an amazing time over there. I saw my family for the first time and it was very special and emotional for me, it was also very special for me to see my roots. Here in Holland i can never place my big legs and stuff like that there all my aunts had it. Or in Holland i am the only one with my last name there were telephone books full of it. It was also amazing to see that all the little kids there had been my father one day a long time ago. Part from all the things that were happening the land itself is also beautiful. Everything is apple green with a lot of mountains and wild animals you can see walking arount like we have mouses and birds. All in all it was a experience i will never forget. Most of the time i stayed in a good hotel. But we also slept 3 days at my families house. That means showering outside naked with a bucket and a sponge, sleeping outside and doing your laundry in the river. That is something else than we have here. I am also very happy with everything i own here. The country is very poor but everyone has enough clothing and enough to eat. I also bought beautiful fabrics there to make some garments out of it.. Unfortunately i dont have any pics of that. All in all it was a life changing trip that i will never forget, and i am certain i will go back and try to learn the language. That was also hard for me i couldnt speak with anyone else than my father, so i couldnt even make myself understandable to my family. I also loved the beautiful black henna they had there.. I took some with me.

The last week i was very busy with buying stuff to go with to Mali but i still had some time to do some shopping! As all of us i couldnt resist the second round of sale. So from up to down: 2 bodycon dresses each 4,95 at hm, vintage armani jeans tee 2,50 and secondhand printed top 1,00, secondhand leopard print body 2,00 and secondhand high waisted levi-jeans 4,00, black peeptoe boots 10,00, six bow and studded rings 2,00 each and last but not least catrice sold out forever mint nailpolish 2,50. I am so happy with al my ney buys! I bought all of this for the great price of 33,90! I LOVE SALEEE!

I had a great weekend! On saturdays i went to a festival called freshtival with my friends the weather was great so i really enjoyed! The festival was on the greatest location with a sandy beach and everywere pillows to chill on. On sundays it was time to relax and pamper myself because i had been partying so hard the day before haha. The picture with the indian girl is taken on the festival and the box and wig pictures i made today. I think the title fits all shots! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend as well! And one thing i cant get out of my head.. Over 9 days i am finally going to my fathers birthland Mali. Im getting more excited every day! Wow this week was so calming! My first week of holiday, i relaxed and sometimes get up out of be
d to do nothing just watch tv whole day. Also a stupid thing happened, i am going to visit my fathers birthland for the first time ( Mali) and we supposed to leave the 29th of juli. Kind of a bummer my father find out he booked over his earlier trip to France, he would arrive in Holland the 31th wile we supposed to fly the 29th pfff. So now we are going from the 5th till the 16th of august. I also bought myself some new panel leggings at h&m, i think thees ones are even prettier as the last one with the black knee pads that a lot of us had. But.. I am not sure to keep them? On the outfit pics above i am also wearing my Primark panel leggings and im not sure i need two pairs. But anyways if i don't keep them i will sell them they are size 10.

He kiddos, how's life? Mines is great at the moment! First things first the pictures above are from today and lastnight's party.I told you thursday that i would go to primark on friday but my plans changed and i went to Amsterdam instead! I did buy some nice stuff there, a little fluo red bag at hm, a mango yellow coloured heart ring from river island wich now was only 3 euros! And a high wasted black short from Zara wich i love. I was kind of scared to wear it because i have a firm figure and not a very visible waist, but i received lots of good compliments so it's a keeper! My weekend was great i had a party lastnight here in Enschede, its called 'The Hamkaas' party wich means in dutch cheeseham party? I dont know why it is called that way? But i love it because it's a yearly thing and there are free drinks,icecream and barbeque. And everyone who wants.. can come! It's in a students house that has a big garden, and it's kind of strange cause you are in/at someone's house but you nearly know anyone? But at the same time everybody is enjoying and loving it! And the weirdest of all is.. IT'S FREE? They do have a little piggy bank at the entrance you can put an amount of money in if you'll like! Tonight is a big night for all the Dutchies, our national soccerteam plays in the worldcup against spain tonight! Im excited.

Wow i was just surfing on Luisaviaroma.com and found this amazing designer, he makes all the shoes like little pieces of art work.. These are from the fall winter collection 2010, but if you look at the older collections they also are beautiful.
I finally finished my internship, i got a bottle of perfume i wanted.. One of gwen stefani's harajuku girls 100 ml. And a few demonstration packages of Chanel. Yeahh wednesday is my last day of internship! I am very curious if i will get a present or voucher cant wait!
The badge says in dutch intern! It was kinda ugly they let me walk around with that badge and not one with my name on it like all the others. In about three weeks im off to Afrika for my first family visit! I've never met my grandma and other family member so very excited and scared cause i don't even speak the language.

Let's start with my title.. Today i got 2 chanel lipsticks for free, my cat was acting like a little boy hanging with his paws out of the window and my asos bonjour 2 finger ring arrived further explaination..->Yaaay i ordered something from Asos last thursday but didnt had the time to blog about it! It has arrived. I bought the 2 finger bonjour ring.. And now i have it im even happier with it than how it looked on the site. The downside is i picked large but because of my big man hands even a size L couldnt fit my middle finger, so now i'm wearing it halfway my fingers! Don't mind the ugly nailpolish do, it was a quick job i had to do this morning wile i was on the bus haha. The next best thing is..look what my internship brought me.. At the warehouse' de Bijenkorf' they also sell cosmetics, once in a while they get new testers and everyone can take one piece home.. I didnt know... Another intern didnt want anything so i sneeky little rat asked her to take the other beautiful lipstick for me! So that's how i ended up with these 2 gorgeous lipsticks from Chanel! I'm so happy with them. One of them was swatched only one time! And the other one i cleaned up with some paper and cut off the top with scissors! Like new. Time to sleep now!

Hey babes, how's life? Mines is at the moment great, i bought new sandals at ZARA sale they are real leather and only cost me 20 euros?! I'm still busy with my internship but this week is the last yaay. And then still three days in the next week but yeah all in all that must be possible to do. The weather is delicious in Holland at the moment! Plus our national soccer team won their soccergame at the worldcup today! So im kinda proud. Not that soccer can normally bother me, but i love the teamspirit! And it's funny to see everyone wear something orange (Dutch soccer team color). I also had a great weekend! We had a bbq at my dad's place. He and his girlfriend gave a big party to celebrate both of their birthdays. I really enjoyed. The weather was great and the people were al happy. When im ready with my internshop i will start posting some more fashion related news but unfortunate it takes me to much time right now to fix up pics and stuff in picasa. Are some of you are going on vacation soon? Some people allready have their summer holiday right now! I can't wait to have mine. Oh and i shaved my head again! First of all again my excuse for neglecting my blog! I simply am to busy to update at the moment. I have to go to my internship every day and after that its cleaning my house,take a shower and searching for houses in Amsterdam. When i will be finished with my internship i will update more! BACK to the festival. Mundial is a great festival with acts from all over the world. The festival lasts 3 days and you can even camp over there if you'll like! Some of the names that where there are: n.e.r.d, Jean paul, Flogging molly and some dutch artists like alain clark and caro emerald! So it's a pretty big festival. A while ago on my birthday my sister gave me a ticket for saturday and she also gave my mom one for her bday so we went with the three of us. Also saturday happened to be the day N.E.R.D was coming so i was so excited.. Unfortunately we didnt had a transfer back if we stayed to see them damn... Because the festival was on the otherside of Holland like 2,5 hours by train. But well i really enjoyed my day. I did see Flogging molly and Caro emerald. I also bought a new ring at the festival market they had some nice stuff over there. Also a funny thing happened i got filmed because some girl told the camera guys about my blog? Im very curious who of you did that? They said they would place the movie on the site but i didnt see anything jet! I will keep my eye on it through the following days. By the way the nailpolish girl finally paid me my money back because i posted a note about her on the fashionforum pfff. Did you enjoy your saturday?

New polishhh! I told you a few posts ago i bought some barry m nailpolishes from a girl! Now guess what i still didnt receive my nailpolish or my money back. Maybe she will pay me the money back but that's still the question! Always a risque buying something secondhand on the net. Most of the times it will go right! But there are some people out there with no decent behaviour! It's always best to look up some information about the person your buying from! In this case i didnt but looked her up after and saw this isnt the first time she messed up! So sad. But yeah besides the Barry m case i still didnt have new summer nailpolishes! So i thought let's treat myself and buy 2 new colours. essence Mango and catrice salmon pink! they really are lovely! i especially love the mango/yellow one! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend?

let's start with my internship.. Im bored to death! Damn, i did learned some things already but the day takes so long. I have to start at 10 and work till 6 and it distresses me that i don't get paid for all the work i do! Offcourse internships are there to learn something about your 'future' job, but i don't see what making clothes has to do with an internship on the ladies department at a warehouse? It's better to give us a internship at a drycleaner or repair store! Anyways it feels like im already doing it for weeks.. wile it has only been 3 days damn. On to the next best thing... In february a photographer/artist asked if i would model for him. I did and the pics above are the results! Kind of funny! now off to looking for a room or house in Amsterdam and after that watch the office us Yaaaay! xxx

Day one of internship!

I had a great weekend! On saturday i went clubbing in the city with a friend.. And sunday was the usual hangover day haha. Did you enjoy yours? Well today is my first day of internship at the "bijenkorf" a big warehouse that's stationed in almost every big city in Holland. I think you can compare it a bit to macy's.

I do have lust to go but i can not wear my own outfits because it's all fancy and chique so that's kind of a bummer. Now im wearing a grandma dress till under my knees hahaha and the rest is all black.. I will make a picture for you later on. My internship lasts 6 weeks and it's about 36 hours a week. Hope you understand.. But maybe i will post a little less during those 6 weeks.. Cause when i get home i will be tired! Well im going! Excitinggg... You all have a fun school/work/nothing day xxx.

But that she has lost the track and trace number.. Yeahh like that helps pfff.. The only thing i can do is now wait till she has found the number and hope she is not lying.. Or maybe i trust people to soon (bad habit). Now let's go to some happy stuff haha, i made the pictures above 1 hour ago when we were waiting for the train to go home.. As you can see im having a good laugh with a friend haha. We just came back from a birthday and were waiting on the train to arrive but it was cold and my boyfriend kept taking pictures while i wasnt in a pose kind of annoying but this are the results and i kinda liked it haha. I'm having a shitty day today! I ordered some nailpolishes by barry m.. They supposed to be shipped last friday but i still havent received anything yet? Kind of weird cause normally it takes one or maybe two days.. So the question is.. Did she even shipped them?(they were all swatched so cheaper at a secondhand webstore). Im wondering all day about it. The next thing is that the rain has come again.. The weather just started to be nice in Holland. Yighhh. I felt the need to post this picture of me without eyebrows hahaha, thats the only make-up i wear.. Im to lazy to wear make-up..aargh. I find it kinda funny to see what your reactions are? Pixie Geldof daughter of Bob Geldof fom live-aid. When she was younger she wasnt in the spotlights to much but then around 2008 she became one of the it-girls. I like her style because she mixes up a lot of different things. I also like the fact that she gives me the girl next door feeling! She looks very approachable, laughs a lot on pictures.

She is good friends with alice dellal maybe that will explain her good sense of style. The weirdest of all is she's only 19 years old? That means she is the same age as me haha, i thought she was much older? Did you all enjoy your weekend? I had a great one! The weather was lovely so me and my bf had a bbq at my dads place, and today we have one at his parents place so yumyum! xx

Sometimes i am such an ass. Yesterday the festival collection/fashion against aids line was launched at hm. I even posted about it earlier this week, and told every simple person i know about it.. Well yesterday when the day was finally there.. I FORGOT ABOUT IT.. and know i can shoot myself in the head for it. I wanted to buy the sleeping bags and the little tent.. The hareem pants,maxi dress and the high wasted jeans short.. Well i can say goodbye to those. aarghh.. hope you did manage to buy something.. What did you bought?

Can we still wait? The collection launches on the 20th of may. I can't wait and you? I had a great time this weekend, friday night my bf had to perform with his band everytime i see him perform i am so proud. His band s called 5 shots of whiskey and they make kind of punk music. On saturday i went to a free festival and on sunday i was a lazy bitch watching tv whole day haha. Did you enjoy yours?
